Lundgrens: Swedish names, made in Malmö
Behind the Brands
Lundgrens is made by Fiedler & Lundgren at its factory in Malmö. British American Tobacco has owned the company since 2008. Lundgrens makes traditional snus as well, but its tobacco-free pouches are the ones we stock.
The names
Each pouch is named after a piece of the Swedish landscape or season: Äng (meadow), Dunge (grove), Fjällskog (mountain forest), Rimfrost (hoar frost), Tjäle (frozen ground), Kvällsbris (evening breeze) and Månskära (crescent moon). Mörk simply means dark.
What Lundgrens says
Its Flexlid tin is unique to the brand, and it recommends keeping your cans in the fridge.
The range
Strengths run from Tjäle at 6mg up to 10mg for Rimfrost, Höståker and Mörk Stark. The Lundgrens Flight is a way to try several at once, and the rest are in the Lundgrens collection.
